Book Review: Feel-Good Productivity

Book Review: Feel-Good Productivity

I recently watched a YouTube video with Ali Abdaal that talked about productivity. Not sure what it was exactly, but I really liked listening to Ali. So I was pleased to find that his book Feel-Good Productivity was available on Audible.

I really liked this book. I found Ali great to listen to and compelling in his story. It’s another one where I really also appreciate that he narrated the book himself.

Content

In the book, Ali busts the myth that productivity is all about hard work. He has had an interesting career path. He’s moved from being a doctor working in busy hospitals in London, to researching productivity over a long period of time, and now focussing his work on it.

The book has the usual selection of inspiring stories from people that Ali has admired in some way. But I like the way he tells the stories.

I found the twelve areas or domains that he focusses on, pretty compelling, and I like the focus in the book on straightforward ways that you can take action to improve your situation, and obviously your productivity.

Summary

Loved the book and found it a great listen as an audio book.
